iphriday: in honor of a fruitful life

As some of you know, a short few weeks ago, my family and I said goodbye (on this side of eternity) to my dearly beloved aunt, my mother’s youngest sister, and the last surviving member of her generation.  She nurtured, encouraged, and inspired many over the course of her 96 years, and during the services in which we celebrated her life, I obtained a glimpse of her wide reaching influence and positive impact beyond our family and across generations. The pictures shared here are of the gooseberry tree in her yard. Its abundance reminds me of her fruitful life and the rich legacy she left behind.

Joining gradydaysandcoffee for Iphriday although these photos were taken with a Samsung Tablet, not an IPhone; grace please. 🙂
